Affiliates offer discounts

Is it possible to set up an affiliate so they can offer 5% discount to the customer and get 15% commission on the purchase? If so, how?

Thank you.

I know what you are saying is right but I think it will be easier to pay someone to do it for me. I’m lost. Do you know any contractors who will set this up for me?

Where do I find someone who can set this up for me? Can you do it?

We are happy to help you but this is beyond support as it involves customization. I would recommend to check the WooWorkers directory or post an offer on jobs.wordpress.org, also there are quite a few freelancer sites around where you can post offers for small customizations.
      Thanks

    Hi,

I kind of understand but not quite, perhaps if I give an example

I have one affiliate who has a coupon code which gives customer 10% discount and the affiliate receives 10% commission. Another affiliate has a coupon code with 5% discount and receives 15% commission. Is this possible to set up?

I have set up the separate coupons and assigned them to the affiliate but how do I make the commission received different? Could you please send instructions. Or is their contractor who can help.

    Thank you.

      Hi,
you can’t do it directly with the plugin. You need to create your own custom method ( you can use my if_coupon method as reference, but you need to customize it).
      cheers

    Hi,

I’ve managed to answer all the questions above EXCEPT one:

    3. How do I set the 15% custom commission rate for the affiliate for that coupon? Please advise

    Thanks.

    Bob.

      Perfect 🙂
You can add to the affiliate a custom rate as attribute (editing this affiliate), but the custom rate is always applied , use or not coupon.
If you need to have different rates, you can use this custom method as referrence or create your own method.
      cheers

    Also another question:

    3. I’ve just been trying to test it out. Does the customer still have to input the discount code? Preferably the discount is automatically applied when they visit the affiliates site?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for your help. I’m getting close! I’m having small problem.
    1. I created the Woocommerce coupon of 5% – tick.
    2. I edited the affiliate and added the coupon attribute – tick.
    3. How do I set the 15% custom rate to the affiliate? Where does this occur?

    Other questions:
    1. Do I have to create a separate coupon for each individual affiliate or can all the affiliates use the same 5% discount coupon?
    2. I also want to offer the same affiliates the ability to offer 10% discount and get 10% commission AND 15% discount and 5% commission OR 20% discount 0% commission AND 0% and 20% commission. Is this even possible?

    Thanking you in advance. 😉

    Bob.

    Hi Robert,
    you can:
    1.- Create a Woocommerce coupon of 5%.
2.- in Affiliates->Manage Affiliates edit the affiliate and add the coupon attribute.
3.- When you edit the affiliate, you can set the 15% custom rate to this affiliate.
    Regards
