“Allow auto-coupons” doesn’t seem to be working

I think you may have helped on this topic before, but your forum-search doesn’t return any results, so here I am again 🙂

We had an issue where affiliates were not rcv’g commissions when they used one of their own coupons on an order.
If I remember correctly, this was fixed by enabling “Allow auto-coupons”.
Now, a while later, we’re doing our final testing before going live and the issue seems to have resurfaced.

I verified that Allow Auto-Coupons is still checked/enabled.

    Hrmm …. looks like the case-sensitivity issue reared it’s head again!

    The hack I implemented works for non auto-coupons, but auto-coupons seem to still be case-sensitive.

    They must use a different method. ???

    Hi William,

    Yes this is the correct setting for affiliates auto-referrals.
    Please make sure that the coupon is active, not limited to specific products or product categories and that it hasn’t reached its usage limit.
