Changing the standard Email layout and txt

When an affiliate signs up. They get a standard email notification with their username and password.

But we want to change its looks and txt. To thank them for becoming affliate etc.

How can we change this email message?

Please advise.

Thanks! Works just like it should.

After following your steps, I went to Plugins > Editor and changed $subject and $message at the bottom of the file to my personalized message.

I saved the php file to my desktop and then tried to install it via “Add New Plugin” I got a format error. I’m guessing it needs to be in a zip format. Can I just add this to functions.php?

  Hi,
  Wordpress need a ZIP file (or you could upload the PHP file with FTP).
  in the plugin page, in the right sidebar, you have a “Download ZIP” button.

Hi,
users receive the WordPress welcome email (you can edit this with SB Welcome Email Editor plugin)
if you need to send a personalized email, you can use Affiliates Welcome Email.
