Error with user login

Posted in

Hi!

I’m getting an error when trying log in with the test affiliate users I’ve created. To demonstrate the problem, it’s best if you try to register and login yourself here: http://indiepressrelease.com/affiliate-control-panel/

It might be an interference with some other plugin or something but I’d appreciate assistance in the matter.

Thanks!

    Hi Antonio!

Thank you for your reply. I tried using this: [affiliates_login_redirect redirect_url="http://indiepressrelease.com/affiliate-control-panel"]

It still redirects me to wp-login.php which for some reason doesn’t work. Is there a way to change the something in the Plugins core files so that it’ll redirect the user straight from the affiliate login form to the affiliate dashboard without going through wp-login.php?

      Hi,
Then probably there is another plugin relating to redirections and/or login that is changing the redirect. You can try to disable they and test if the redirection works correctly.
If the problem persists you can send us dashboard admin access to support at itthinx dot com and we’ll have a look at your settings.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

        Hi!

I found the plugin that messed with the login page. Now the login should work seamlessly.

Now the only problem is that when user logs out, they get redirected to either a blank page or wp-login.php. Is there a way to add a custom redirect for the logout?

I couldn’t find anything about that from your documentation.

Thank you again for your help.

          Hi,
you can add this code in your functions.php theme files. Then use ex.: [affiliates_logout_redirect redirect_url="http://www.itthinx.com"]
          Kind Regards,
          Antonio B.

    Hi Daniel,
It’s probably a conflict with another login plugin installed.
You can use the ‘redirect_url’ attribute in your affiliates-area page in the [affiliates_login_redirect] shortcode.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
