If you want that the users add this JOIN NOW code in their blogs/pages/… then they can not use the shortcode, they must add their custom links with their affiliate’s ID manually. They can get their affiliate’s ID from the affiliate-area page. So if you add in your affiliate-area page the code:
    [affiliates_affiliate_link url="http://www.example.com/my-product/" render="code" ]JOIN NOW[/affiliates_affiliate_link]
Then the users will see the html code that they need to add in their pages.

How do we append the current affiliate’s ID to a product page link?
    JOIN NOW

That is what we are trying to do.

      Hi,
If you need to append the current affiliate’s ID to an url, you need to be an affiliate, so you need to be logged in.
Really I think that you don’t want this.
      The normal process is:
When an user uses an affiliate’s link, then a cookie is created in the user’s browser. So, when this user buys a product, then the plugin gets the cookie with the affiliate’s ID, and add the commission to this affiliate.
      Kind Regards

      Hi,
You can use the [affiliates_registration] shortcode for register new affiliates.

even when adding the shortcode [/affiliates_is_not_affiliate], we still cannot generate dynamic product page urls on our page when the visitor is not logged on.

We’re looking to enable new affiliate creation only via product purchases.

  8. Vladimir January 30, 2017 at 2:57 pm #

Which would be used to generate a url for the affiliate’s product page.?

    Hi Vladimir,
When you visit the website as not logged user, you are not an affiliate, so this shortcode can not display a custom url.
This shortcode should be used on the affiliate-area page, where the affiliates can get their custom links, their commissions and other information.
Please have a look at the documentation page.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
