Hi there,
few days ago we’ve known an instability of groups plugin. All the contents with groups_access were sudenly publicly accessible, and our groups are not more recognized by the plugin into our page edition lateral menu (I mean: when you create or edit page or post you have the possibility to restrict access via your groups, the groups we used does not appear as we try to select it and worst: if you tape it and save the page it disappears).

Hi Jose,
Since Groups 2.x.x restrictions are based on groups instead of capabilities. This model is more simple than the previous that would ulitize capabilities and groups. For backwards compatibility though, there is the option for legacy support under Groups > Options which is enabled by default. There is a full description on the new features, in the Welcome screen once you update. This page can also be reached through Plugins, locate the Groups line and click on the Welcome link.
Also, in order to start restricting your content with groups, make your site administrator, a member of all the groups you have set.
Finally, also have a look at the documentation for Groups, there is a dedicated section on how to migrate from the previous to the new restriction model. This will help you to bulk set groups restrictions to your content.
