I also wanted to mention, I currently have my settings set to ONLY email the affiliate when a referral is accepted. Meaning I do not have the box checked for Pending.
Each affiliate is still receiving 2 emails on each referral (the same referral). Even though I have this unchecked, it is still sending 2 emails. Please help me fix this as it’s hogging up my mailing relay services.

Antonio, I have made your user account you created an admin so you can login and see. Or have you already done this?

in Affiliates->Settings:Referrals you have as default referral status ‘Accepted’. So when a referral is created, its status is ‘accepted’ (email is sent), then according to the order’s status, referral goes to ‘pending’.
Please change the default referral status to ‘Pending’.

OK I will try that. I have changed the default referral to pending. The notification system is set to only send an email when it is accepted so let’s hope the affiliates stop getting 2 emails each time a referral is created. I will keep you updated if this fixes my problem.

Yes Antonio that is what I am saying… I do NOT have the box checked to send a referral an email when the status is pending. It is ONLY checked to send an email when a referral is ACCEPTED. But the system is still sending 2 emails to an affiliate regardless of what I check in the boxes…………….

probably a conflict with another plugin, you can try to disable plugins relating to emails and user registrations.
