referral has been credited to id

Posted in

Hello
i have affiliates pro installed and am using jigoshop. Within the last 5-7 days I’m seeing emails which say an affiliate has been credited to the direct id …
but when i look in jigoshop, i am not seeing the sale?

will you please guide me as to what possibly could be going on.

Thank you incredibly much,
Becky

    Hi Antonio,
    Yes thank you i have turned off the user integration as well as the affiliate options as we were not using this feature right now. May i ask, since we were receiving emails that said affiliate id 1 had been credited, did that mean a sale did take place? it never registered in the bank account or authorize.net.

    thank you

      The referrals is created when the order is created (you can set the default status in Affiliates->Options). When the payment is completed, then the referral status is updated.
      cheers

      Relating to your reply:
      “But that is the problem. I never received the sale. Only the email saying a referral had been credited.
      Jigoshop never recorded the sale and it was not credited to my authorize.net
      Ive had about 9 days with no sales when previously we were selling everyday. Something must be wrong.”

      It seems a problem with your Jigoshop installation. You can try:

      1.- Enable debugging for WordPress, in wp-config.php add/change these lines:
      define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
      define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
      2.- Make a purchase using an affiliate link.
      3. Disable debugging
      define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
      define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, false );
      4. Please post the contents of the file wp-content/debug.log through pastebin.com or send us to support at itthinx dot com
      thanks

    Hi,
    maybe you have enabled the user registration integration (in Affiliates->User Integration) and the store direct referrals (in Affiliates->Options).
    cheers
