I’m trying to figure out if this is applicable to my scenario. I don’t really understand it.
Do any of these need to be enabled or checked if I’m just doing a commission rate % on the individual affiliate level?

Hi Dustin,
User Registration option is used if you want to give commissions (referrals) when new users are added. So if I visitan affiliate’s link, and I register on your web, then the affiliate gets a referral.
This option is not mandatory to establish personalized commissions per affiliate. To set custom rates, you can do it from Affiliates->Manage Affiliates editing the affiliate (adding the rate attribute).
