    Hi Kento,
The custom method documentation is baffling since I am not a software guy. So what is my solution?
What does ‘allow duplicate referrals’ do? Does it not allow referrals based on the number of products in the cart?
All I am trying to do is give $1 per item to the promoter. Therefore if the cart contains 1 item, promoter gets $1 and if the cart contains 3 items, promoter gets $3 and so on…
    Thanks,
    Vijay

      Hi Vijay,

The referrals for the integration should rather be rate-based in this case, as your commission calculation is proportional to the purchase order total. You can set that under Affiliates > Settings with Pro/Enterprise and under Affiliates > WP e-Commerce with the plain Affiliates plugin.

Normally you would leave duplicate referrals disabled, this option prevents two or more referrals being credited to an affiliate for the same purchase.

If you need specific help for Pro/Enterprise, please post a topic in the forums.

      Cheers

    Hi Antonio,
Question on setup. Not sure how to do it.
I would like to setup the referral amount as a dollar for each item that a customer orders.
Hence if a customer orders 1 item, a referral amount of $1 is in the promoters account. If the customer orders 3 items then $3 is in the promoters account. How do I set this up?
    Regards,
    Vijay

    Hi Antonio,
I bought the Affiliate Pro and it is working fine. Thank you for your help and support. A few questions though that are a bit confusing to me:
    1) I had associated coupon x to affiliate id3. I deleted affiliate id3 and created a new affiliate who automatically got id4. I tried associating coupon x to id4 but it would not let me. Is this normal or am I doing it wrong?
    2) I do not want affiliates to register on their own. As the site admin, I create the affiliates and associate a coupon to them. However during adding a new affiliate, I cannot input a user name (it won’t accept one if I input one) or a password for the affiliate to log on at a later time and see his account status. Could you help in how to do this?
    3) Since I already have Affiliate Pro, do I need to buy Affiliates coupons extension? What will it do for me?
    Thanks,
    Vijay

      Hi,
1.- Affiliates are not totally removed, for security reasons. If you select “Include removed affiliates” in the filter in Affiliates->Manage affiliates, you can see the removed affiliate, and remove her coupon.
2.- In dashboard, first you create a wordpress user, then you can associate this user to a new affiliate.
3.- Affiliates coupons creates coupons to new affiliates automatically. When a new affiliate is registered, automatically he has a coupon.
      cheers

    Hi Antonio,
Thank you for your response. I checked the two video on the site but did not see any mention of an affiliate getting credit if a customer went directly to the store without using the affiliate’s link but placed an order with the affiliate’s coupon code.
I just want to be sure before I buy the Pro version that in the above scenario, the purchase is not shown as direct, but as a referral for the affiliate since the affiliates unique coupon code was used by the customer even though the affiliate’s link was not used to place the order.
Your confirmation will be appreciated and help me proceed to buy the plugin.
    Regards,
    Vijay

      Hi,
with Affiliates Pro WOOCOMMERCE integration (that includes Affiliates Pro and the integration), you can create a woocommerce coupon, assign it to an affiliate, and the affiliate will get commissions when customers use this coupon.
      cheers

    Hi,
1)We want our affiliates to get credit even if a customer places an order without using the designated affiliate link but with the designated affiliate coupon code. Will Affiliate Pro support this feature?
    2) How do affiliates gain access to their individual accounts to see the stats?
    Thanks

    Hi Kento,

I’ve just upgraded a friends site to WP with Jigoshop and I’m looking at replacing the custom-built affiliates system I wrote for him with Affiliates Pro.

Affiliates receive a flat fee for each referred sale – and that fee is different for different products. Can your plugin do that?

You can implement a custom method, or if you assign commissions on each product sale – relating individual products to affiliates or product partners – the Affiliates Products plugin might be interesting – the latter lets you specify a rate per product.

    Hello,
We are going to have Affiliates providing Amazon links to book readers. Every Affiliate should get paid whenever a Amazon sale coming from our website (book post) is closed. Would this work with your Affiliate Pro or any of those integration packs?

Thank you in advance for your quick reply.

      Hi Ernest,
It could be made to work with Affiliates Pro I suppose but it will require a separate integration so that orders placed through the site on Amazon are credited to the affiliate. If you want to discuss a possible custom development feel free to contact me.
Interesting site by the way 🙂
