Will it be any defference between the costs if renewed before and after one year of the purchase?

    • kento November 24, 2013 at 2:19 pm #

That will depend on offers which are issued from time to time, but renewal cost won’t be higher than the product price.

    Hi
I am considering purchasing Affiliates Enterprise.
It says that the purchase includes 1 year of support and updates.
    What happens after that?
Will I still be able to recieve updates and support after that?
    Thanks

    • kento November 22, 2013 at 3:45 pm #

      Hi,

You will be able to receive updates and support for the period purchased, you will be given the option to renew or after that to extend through a new purchase. The cost of it depends on offers we launch, but won’t exceed the cost of purchase.

    Hi,
I am sorry I wasn’t clear and yes I mean affiliates referring potential customers to a landing page (squeeze page) that is on a subdomain and not hosted by me. Therefore the regular ending affiliate/affiliate# does not work.

I can however put a tracking code in html format in these landing pages but the question is, how would that code be if possible for Affiliate Pro to recognize it.

    Thanks,
    Anita

      Hi,
you can use javascript to create the affiliate cookie “wp_affiliates” from the url parameter (in your landing page system).
Once created, if the user goes to the site and buy something, the affiliate will receive her commission.
      cheers

    Hi there,
I have Affiliate Pro and the S2 member integration. I am a bit puzzled as to add tracking to Unbounce landing pages that I create for affiliates and collects e-mail addresses to a Mailchimp list. I am told by Unbounce that I need a tracking pixel. How can a accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Anita

      Hi Anita,

It depends on what you want to achieve, do you mean your affiliate refer potential customers to the landing page or are your affiliates getting to the landing page before they sign up?

Thanks kento. I’d also like all paid users, but not free subscribers, to have affiliate accounts. Will the Affiliate Users extension be able to manage this, or is this also a matter for custom coding?

    • kento July 10, 2013 at 8:35 pm #

Yes, basically it* would require an additional check based on the membership level so that free subscribers don’t get added automatically (* a modification based on the Affiliates Users plugin).

I’m trying to set up a site with s2member that will give subscription extensions as affiliate rewards, rather than monetary commission. So you sign up three members, you get an extra year’s subscription. Is there any way this is possible with Affiliates Pro?

    • kento July 9, 2013 at 12:25 pm #

This could be achieved using the API but you would need a customized solution for it. In fact you wouldn’t event need to use Affiliates Pro, just the free Affiliates plugin should be sufficient. But still, it would require a developer to build an extension that extends the subscriptions based on the criteria you have established.

can this module be used with the Affiliates Pro for WP e-Commerce module? We have a site that has two shopping carts.

    • kento August 29, 2012 at 7:56 am #

Yes they can be used simultaneously. The referrals from both WP e-Commerce and s2Member would be managed.

I just purchased Affiliates pr+ s2member (am using paypal with s2member) and am a bit confused how I can set different commission for different products.

    Thanks,
    Anita

    • kento June 6, 2012 at 8:24 pm #

      Hi Anita,
Commission rates by membership level aren’t directly supported (yet), it could be done with a custom method though. Do you have any particular requirements for the commissions by product?

      • Anita June 6, 2012 at 8:35 pm #

        Thank you for your reply,

I am offering expensive programs and inexpensive subscriptions so the same flat rate or percentage commission for both product categories is not very efficient.

I was wondering if your Paypal solution would perhaps solve the problem and if those two solutions work together.

        • Anita June 7, 2012 at 10:13 am #

          Hi Kento,
I forgot to mention I also have products with no commissions so being able to set different commission rates for different products is of utmost importance. Please let me know if we can solve this somehow.
          Thank you,
          Anita

Ok, that would also need to be covered by the custom method. Thanks for clarifying that, I’ll get in touch.

        • kento June 7, 2012 at 11:46 am #

I think a custom method would be more appropriate, using the PayPal integration wouldn’t be an advantage in this case. Let me check and get back to you on that.

I will have to have a look at my structure. Right now with s2Memeber. Level 0 is free subscribers and I reserve it for clients. I’ll have to make adjustments as this is a members only site with paid subscription levels for those that are not clients.

  10. Kim April 17, 2012 at 8:19 pm #

I have one more critical question. Your standard Affiliate plugin requires the setting for “anyone can register” to be checked in the WordPress settings. I have s2Member set up with this option disabled as I reserve the free subscriber option for clients. Will I be able to maintain this with the upgrade to the s2Member Pack and will people still be able to register for my Affiliate program or will I have to allow anyone to register?

    • kento April 17, 2012 at 11:07 pm #

You need to allow affiliates to register and that depends on the ‘Anyone can register’ setting, would it be a problem for your clients to be granted affiliate status at the Subscriber level?

I have a presales question regarding s2member, eShop and Affliates Pro.

I already use s2member and eshop on my site and what I need to know is what Pro versions of your product do I need to purchase to integrate both s2member and eshop?

Would I need Affliate Pro + s2member Integration Pro + eShop Integration Pro? All 3 products or just Affliate Pro?

    Thanks

    • kento April 17, 2012 at 7:55 pm #

      Hi Kim,
Thanks for asking, it’s enough to get one of the integration packs (at least for now, as the integrations are available only in the packs). So just get the s2Member pack or the eShop pack. I’ll forward the additional plugin to you once you’ve made the order. Make sure to send me a note including the order number.
      Cheers

    Hi

I have recently purchased the S2Member integration pack with Pro, for a new site that I am building.

    Questions:
1 how do I use the S2Member affiliate coupon codes to integrate with Affiliates Pro? In other words: when a new customer subscribes without a link from the affiliate site, how do I connect this customer to the affiliate?

2 I am struggling to style the pages that use short codes (eg http://eezifind.co.nz/affiliate-zone/affiliate-profile/) – any suggestions (eg) to set the margins?

    • kento February 21, 2012 at 10:30 am #

1 – Coupon code support is currently being developed for Affiliates Pro and all its integrations including the s2Member integration, it will be available in an updated release shortly.
2 – You can adjust its appearance quite flexibly with CSS rules. For example, the affiliate profile form is wrapped in <div class=”affiliate-profile”>…</div>.
