Demos

This video shows Affiliates Pro and eShop in action: details of the plugins installed and setup, an example purchase made through an affiliate link (banner) and the resulting referral linked to the order.

The next video was recorded with Affiliates Pro for Jigoshop, it also applies to Affiliates Pro for eShop.

The video shows three main interactions for customers, admins and affiliates:

  • how a customer makes a purchase through an affiliate link
  • how an admin sees referrals and relates them to orders
  • and how an affiliate sees an overview of his performance

The integration provides all features of the Affiliates Pro plugin.

Is this integrated with WooCommerce or would I have to make new products using this?

Where do you ask for the affiliate pay pal email? Also are payments done automatically?

    • kento April 6, 2012 at 2:55 pm #

The email they use to register is the one used by default for affiliate payments, unless there is one added specifically. Adding a simple notice to use their PayPal email address to sign up as an affiliate usually is sufficient. But you can also use the [affiliates_affiliate_profile] shortcode and let them edit their profile – more details: Setting up an affiliate profile page. Payments are not done automatically.

How do you pay your affiliates?

    • kento April 6, 2012 at 2:18 pm #

You can generate a PayPal mass payments file which provides you the totals due for all affiliates. Obviously this is useful if you are paying your affiliates in bulk through PayPal, but also if you pay them in any other way. This is handled from the Affiliates > Totals screen where you can generate the mass payment file and also close the referrals after the payments have been made. Please have a look at the Payments section in the documentation where the process is explained in detail.
