The video shows three main interactions for customers, admins and affiliates:

  • how a customer makes a purchase through an affiliate link
  • how an admin sees referrals and relates them to orders
  • and how an affiliate sees an overview of his performance

In addition to what is shown in the video, all features of the Affiliates Pro plugin are available.

1)Can it be made to approve or disapprove new affiliate registrants?
    2)How can I set up tiered commissions formula for all affiliates. I.E. up to 100 = 5%; 101 to 200 = 10%; etc?

    • antonio April 4, 2015 at 10:11 am #

      Hi lee,
1.- Affiliates are automatically approved. You can set your default referrals status to ‘Pending’ in Affiliates->Settings:Referrals.
2.- You can create your own custom method. Maybe ‘by sales’ method can help you as reference.
      Regards,
      Antonio B.

I’m just looking at different ways of working out the affiliate commission, is there a method to set referral rates for individual products?, or alternatively create categories so for example category a, category b & category c products each earn the affiliates a different referral rate?

    Cheers,
    ^JD

    • antonio December 6, 2013 at 6:26 pm #

      Hi,
maybe Affiliates Products can help you. With this plugin, the relationship is one-by-one between affiliate-product.
      cheers

    I Kento,

I am yet to recieve an email with a quote to ‘choose’ which products affiliates can get commissions on using jigoshop with affiliates pro plugin.

I would really like to get this up and running so if someone can help me set this up and give me a quote that would be much appreciated

    • kento August 6, 2013 at 8:22 am #

      Hi Lyn,

This has been sent to you on the 30th of July, can you please check?

    • Tim August 6, 2013 at 8:24 am #

This is the same feature I’m interested in. Perhaps we can share the cost?

      • kento August 6, 2013 at 8:31 am #

Hi Tim, that would be great if the requirements are common. I’ll forward what I’ve sent Lyn to you as well.

  4. Tim August 5, 2013 at 8:55 am #

    Hi

I have the affiliates pro plugin and use jigoshop.

I’d like to allow affiliate commission only on specific products and not store wide. Is this possible?

    Thanks

    • antonio August 5, 2013 at 2:05 pm #

Hi, right now this feature is not implemented. cheers

  5. Lyn July 30, 2013 at 1:17 am #

Hi Kento, is it possible to just go through PayPal and not jigoshop? So I would have some products through paypal and others being sold via jigoshop? And the ones I wanted sold via the affiliates could be sold via one or the other?

    • kento July 30, 2013 at 1:01 pm #

That would complicate things for you rather than solve what you want to achieve – it’s really better to have the product rates.

  6. Lyn July 27, 2013 at 12:02 am #

Thanks for getting back to me. What would this cost? Lyn

    • kento July 29, 2013 at 10:09 am #

Thanks Lyn, I’ll check and forward an estimate to you.

  7. Lyn July 26, 2013 at 12:22 am #

    Hi Kento,

I use jigoshop for promoting and selling my products. But I don’t want sales of all my products to earn affiliate commissions. Is this possible with Affiliate Pro?
    Thanks

    • antonio July 26, 2013 at 11:23 am #

Hi, This is available with the WooCommerce integration but currently not with the one for Jigoshop. It could be implemented but you would have to cover for the cost.

    Hi,

I am not sure if i got it right, so I will reformulate my question.

I run Jigoshop on domain http://www.JanPatrman.cz with the Affill pro and plugion for Jigoshop.

I would like to run the Affil pro plugion on domain http://www.AffilGuru.cz because it would be more confortable for the users and cound the the visits and referals on the domain with Jigoshop http://www.JanPatrman.cz

    Is this possible?

    Jan

    • kento May 27, 2013 at 4:39 pm #

      Hi Jan,

You should have the system running on the site where the sales are recorded. Running it on one domain and tracking hits on another would only be possible if you literally map the hits on domain 1 to domain 2 – that can be achieved in a variety of ways, but it’s something that you cannot do OOTB. You would need to place specific code on the first domain … for example using an iframe that pulls in a page from domain 2 while it recognizes the affiliate link hit on domain 1 and appends it to the URL for the iframe that pulls in content from domain 2. In other words, it can be done, but it’s not something you would normally like to do unless it’s really necessary.

Another way would be to create a link to domain 2 which recognizes the affiliate link from domain 1, takes the affiliate parameter and adjusts the link to domain 2. It probably depends on how the whole process should work for your clients.

When you say to make it more comfortable for users, in what way would it be more comfortable? Maybe there’s the clue and an easier solution would be to just run two separate affiliate programs on both sites? With sales on both domains?

      Cheers

    Hi,

I would like to ask. Can I have Affiliate Pro installed on one WP installation (with its own domain) and Run the Jigoshop on different WP installaton (with a different domain). Will the affiliate program still work?

    Thank you. Jan

    • antonio May 27, 2013 at 7:05 am #

      Hi,
Affiliates works only with a domain. In this case you will have several affiliate systems running, but not connected.
If user A is an affiliate in domainA, this user A doesn’t exist in domainB, and isn’t an affiliate in B.
      cheers

  10. kakadong February 23, 2013 at 7:07 am #

Hi, i want to ask is it can be achieved by your plugin.
I use jigoshop as my shopping cart, and I want to limit only Product in One specefic category will have referals.
For example , I sell Ipad and Iphones and Mac Book Pro in my store . I want those 3 product in a category will have referrals for affiliate.

Other product such as PC-software , Mac software won’t generate referrals for the affiliate.
    Is it possible?

    • kento February 25, 2013 at 1:47 pm #

Currently that is not possible OOTB (it could be done customizing things though).

    Hi Kento.

My site is in maintenance mode right now, can i send you the login details in private please?

    Thanks

    • kento February 5, 2013 at 8:04 pm #

Yes sure, please use contact to forward them.

      • adammorley73 March 14, 2013 at 2:24 am #

        Hi Kento,

I’ve emailed you a number of times regarding the login details for the issue I have with the affiliate software not showing the graphs. Will you be able to please have a look at the problem when you get chance.

        Thanks.

        • kento March 19, 2013 at 9:57 am #

Hi Adam, there are Javascript errors on the Profile Performance page (you have HTML p tags inserted in your Javascript …) – looks like a problem with WordPress’ wpautop filter but this plugin can be used to disable WordPress’s auto formatting if you would like to give it a try: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ps-disable-auto-formatting/

  12. adammorley73 January 30, 2013 at 9:27 pm #

Very Cool. I just bought Affiliate-PRO and it’s great. I have one small issue though that’s probably my cause, I can’t get the graphs to show up.
I’ve used the basic shortcode [affiliates_affiliate_graph]and [affiliates_affiliate_graph interval="month"]but can’t seem to get them to show. Only have 2 test affiliate accounts with small number of test purchases/referrals.

Do I need to add something? Thanks.

    • kento January 31, 2013 at 3:11 pm #

      Thanks for using it 🙂

Can you post a link to the page? It might be a Javascript error caused by another plugin that happens before the ones necessary for the graph to show up are processed.

  13. Michael January 15, 2013 at 12:08 am #

I have Affiliates Pro for Jigoshop and just noticed that all new affiliates who sign up are signed up three times under the same username when they complete the form.

I just did a test myself and nothing funny happened on form submission, to make me think it is user error, but when I looked at my list of affiliates, I have the same test affiliate username listed three times with all the same details except for three different (sequential) IDs.

Looks like the user only gets the first ID, so I can manually delete the two extra, but I wonder if this is a known issues that can be resolved?

    • kento January 17, 2013 at 11:11 am #

That shouldn’t happen, it might be a conflict or an issue with your setup. Would you mind giving access to the Back End of your site?

  14. ruckiy October 3, 2012 at 6:40 pm #

how much does the enterprise cost and also does it have a feature where you can charge someone to become an affiliate.

moreover, can we customize it in a manner that the affiliate must buy something within a certain price range before he can withdraw his commissions.

the reason behind it is to keep trained affiliates who will be given an understanding of the products we sell for which we wish to charge. And monthly when its time to withdraws his commissions he is directed to a new product that he should buy from his commissions. So he gets trained in the new product.

If the above is not available can we still integrate it as a custom solution. please advice directly to my email should you have difficulty answering on the forum.

    • kento October 3, 2012 at 8:28 pm #

The cost of the Enterprise version depends on the amount of customization that is needed as it normally includes at least some consulting and/or development to suit specific needs. The best would to have a closer look at your requirements and assess the customization you need as some of what you mention is not part of the solution OOTB. You can forward details here.

  15. ruckiy October 2, 2012 at 10:35 pm #

hi I need to know whether you have any tier levels integrated to your affiliate system like in wp affiliates its very important i am using jigoshop and i like your plugin but this feature is a must. at least to have two tier levels for the affiliate system.

    • kento October 3, 2012 at 10:13 am #

Still only with Enterprise. With so many requests coming in for multiple tiers though this is being pushed up in the priorities list to offer a generic solution.

  16. Ciaran August 28, 2012 at 9:31 am #

Hi I was wondering if you could help help me. I’m not sure if your affiliate plugin will do what I’m looking for or not. Basically I’m building a shop site on Jigoshop, this site will have 3 suppliers retailers. My client will handle orders for these 3 different suppliers. Ideally I would like it that when a product is purchased the system can link this product to a certain supplier. Then after payment a percentage is paid automatically to my client and the remainder to the supplier. I was wondering if this would work with your affiliate plugin? Is there anyway to apply affiliates to individual products?

    • kento August 27, 2012 at 9:27 am #

You shouldn’t use the permissions as you have them for the Subscriber role on the Affiliates > Options screen. Make sure to uncheck all for that role, as this would allow any of the affiliates to control your affiliate program and access private information about affiliates.

      • clever August 27, 2012 at 11:59 pm #

Thanks Kento… so thats all i have to do to get this working? great, i’ll do that now and test it again. thanks

  18. clever August 27, 2012 at 1:51 am #

    • kento August 27, 2012 at 9:23 am #

There should have been a referral recorded for the Direct affiliate on that order. Let me have a look at the admin section (email me login details please).

  19. clever August 22, 2012 at 3:52 pm #

great thanks and what about any suggestions about someone checking my settings? Any advise there?

    • kento August 23, 2012 at 8:47 pm #

I suggested the forum because I think that’s where you would get the best advise and help on it 🙂

      • clever August 23, 2012 at 11:26 pm #

Great thanks, so just to be clear, they jigoshop forum is where I’ll get help on the affiliate setting plugin yes?

        thanks again

        • kento August 24, 2012 at 7:49 am #

I was suggesting the forums to you to get help on the invalid shipping method issue, but not regarding settings related to the Affiliates plugin. You’re welcome to post any questions about that here 🙂

        • kento August 24, 2012 at 7:51 am #

BTW I’ve made a test order on the site, you should see a referral for it.

  20. clever August 21, 2012 at 7:41 pm #

Thanks kento… I have no idea about the invalid shipping method error, i will look into that. Do you know anyone that I can employ on an hourly basis to go over my settings as I have followed instructions but must have something incorrect? Or are you guys able to log in and check them for me? Any thoughts here?

    Thanks again
    clever

    • kento August 22, 2012 at 7:45 am #

I would suggest to have a look at the Jigoshop Forum first, if you search for invalid shipping method there come up several threads that might help you.

  21. clever August 19, 2012 at 11:38 pm #

Hi, i just used an affiliate profile i set up as a test and its not showing the sale in the affiliate area. I used a different computer and a separate ip address. Its registering the visit and the hit but not the sale or commission.

    Any help?

    thanks

    c

    • kento August 21, 2012 at 2:37 pm #

I tried to place a test order but it throws the ‘Invalid shipping method’ error. The referral is created once you have submitted the order – please check that the settings are correct both for the Affiliates Pro plugin (did you set a referral rate in Affiliates > Settings?) and the integration plugin for Jigoshop.

  22. clever August 19, 2012 at 10:29 pm #

Hi guys/girls… I am trying to create a profile page for my affiliates, i’ve added the following shortcode however nothing appears. I’ve added it in both editing modes, (visual and html) and nothing is working. any help here?

    thanks

    [affiliates_affiliate_profile /]

    • kento August 21, 2012 at 2:33 pm #

Are you logged in as an affiliate when viewing the page where the shortcode is embedded? It won’t show anything unless the user is logged in and is a valid affiliate.

      • clever August 21, 2012 at 7:38 pm #

thanks kento.. you were right, its all working now.

  23. Opal June 26, 2012 at 9:24 pm #

Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. I am wondering if I would need to create some banner ads for the affiliates? Otherwise, how is an affiliate sells stuff for the merchant if there is no ads? Thank you.

  24. Opal June 25, 2012 at 7:26 pm #

I have some questions. I use Jigoshop for my site and I downloaded your free plugin. I just found out that you are selling Affiliate Jigoshop Plugin. Do I have to buy this Jigoshop Affiliate plugin in order to make affliate works in my website?
The the other thing is that since it is a free plugin and some paid plugins. Do you advertise yourself like CJ, Shareasale and Linkshare?
How do you find affiliates to join you and help to sell products?
    Thank you.

    • kento June 25, 2012 at 11:09 pm #

You don’t have to buy anything, things work with the free version. The decision to use the premium version is pretty much based on whether you need the enhancements.

  25. vincent April 15, 2012 at 8:47 pm #

i just emailed for the latest version thanks, i also did a tweet on it without seeing the email first 😀

    • kento April 15, 2012 at 9:51 pm #

      Got it, cheers 🙂

  26. vincent April 15, 2012 at 7:36 am #

kento love the plugin, however i cant seem to find the generate button under options i am sure its something simple and the generated page would be sufficient for what i need. thanks

    • kento April 15, 2012 at 11:12 am #

It’s located in Affiliates > Options right on top of the page, if it’s not there then your version is old. In that case please contact me.

  27. Michael December 10, 2011 at 10:08 pm #

Great! Would it be possible to make it an option to require the affiliate ID before Jigoshop processes cart? What is the timeline on the release?

    – M

    • kento December 11, 2011 at 5:18 pm #

This is integrated with Jigoshop’s coupons, so if you have a coupon XMASDEER assigned to an affiliate, the customer will use that code on checkout and the affiliate gets credited with a referral.
The next release is due shortly, if you have an urgent requirement for this, please get in touch with me and I’ll see if we can speed things up a bit on this.

  28. Michael December 10, 2011 at 6:24 am #

There’s a chance that affiliates might send friends/referrals to a site after telling them about it but not have them click a link or banner. Is there a way for shoppers/visitors to enter an affiliate ID in the Jigoshop checkout, similar to a coupon code, to indicate who referred them?

    Thanks,

    – M

    • kento December 10, 2011 at 11:24 am #

This is actually under development right now. Should be available with the next update. Thanks for the suggestion and if you want to get updated on that please follow @itthinx on Twitter or subscribe to the newsletter.
