    Hi,
this plugin is working fine for me but let me know thing when i delete a affiliate in ‘manage affiliate’ then why the data related to that affiliate still show to me ? the data also has to delete from database of that affiliate ..

how can i remove all the data related to that affiliate which is removed ??

    • kento December 18, 2013 at 6:02 pm #

No, the data is to maintain in the database, that is by design. If data from a deleted entry shows up, it is because your filter settings are set accordingly.

i tested affiliate free plugin. this is quite good but facing a problem with referrals counts, means when a affiliate signup and it generates affiliate id for that new user like “affiliates=1″ and when this affiliates put the affiliate link on other site and when anyone click on that link then it transfer the user on that particular link and the user buy product and in back end the no. of hits increase but the referrals remain same ’0′ for that affiliate id. please let me know the solution for that.

i am using simple eCommerce plugin

Is that ‘Affiliates Pro PayPal Integration’ will be good for me to use? i have many product on my site and let us suppose if a new affiliate sign up and his affiliate id is 3. then that affiliate will put his affiliate URL like
Buy new shirt. now a visitor click on that link then the come on that particular product page and he buy the product. now that new referrals comes from that affiliate id=3, the number of hits will increase for that particular affiliate, is there also the number of referrals will be increase as well for that affiliate. ????

is that short-code [affiliates_PayPal_form] [/affiliates_PayPal_form] will track the affiliate id from which the referrals came? please reply ASAP

      Hi,
There isn’t simple eCommerce integration so the referrals will not be registered. You can use another e-commerce system as Woocommerce, eShop, TheCartPress … or you can use Affiliates Pro Paypal. But if you need to have commissions it’s not possible with simple eCommerce.
I have tried implement you the integration, but simple eCommerce doesn’t allow me (there isn’t an action to use to know when paypal is paid).
      cheers

Hi – Where can I download the API library? I see all the code examples in the API documentation, but I need a library for my non-wordpress application so I can communicate with the affiliates plugin on my tracking server. Thanks.

    • antonio November 11, 2013 at 6:08 am #

      Hi,
you have available the API Documentation here.
      cheers

        Hi Antonio,
I have looked at the API documentation – it covers only the classes in the Affiliates plugin. I think maybe we understand API differently. Here is what I expect from an API.

A web service (Affiliates plugin) plus API communicates via http with an external application using the API code library. The application can run on any computer. The API library uses URLs to send and receive data from the web service. The application is not required to use WordPress and cannot call Affiliates plugin class methods directly.

So the question is, do you have a web API as I have described above?

          Hi,
sorry, there isn’t a web service available.
          cheers

          Hi,
there isn’t a integration with simple eCommerce Plugin, so the purchase is not registered by Affiliates plugin.

Affiliates links are for homepage of the site or individual affiliates links are generated for each product.

    Hello,

We have download the free version of affiliates and doing our test. Once we understand it and see it is convinient for us, we will buy the pro version.

We already have a group of affiliates in a excel document, is it possible to integrate this excell document in the affiliate program and not to type one by one?

    Thank you in advance,

    Itziar

      Hi,
There are various solutions to import users, see for example this thread. You can use the Affiliates Users to create affiliate accounts for existing user accounts and to have them created automatically when new users are added.
