Affiliate after visiting specific site

Hi,

affiliates got to enter a code inside the URL. Is there a way to set the affiliate cookie by visiting a specific landing page I created for my affiliates?

Greetings,

Mathias

    Hi Matthias,

Then i think you should have a look at Pixel Tracking. You should use the [affiliates_pixel] shortcode and the affiliate can use the html tag rendered.
If you use one landing page per affiliate, so that each affiliate shares his one landing page instead of an affiliate link, then you can place the html rendered per affiliate on each of your pages.

    Cheers,
    George

    Hi George,

yes, the affiliate ist using example.com/?ref=12 etc. But is it possible to use example.com/landing-page and set a cookie to every visitor, which sees this page, so that the affiliate do not have to use the affiliate code?

    Greetings, Mathias

    Hi Mathias,

The affiliate cookie will be set once a visitor comes to your site after clicking on an affiliate link. Basically all that the affiliate has to do is get their link from your affiliate area page and start sharing it to their channels, social media etc.
Unless there is something i’m missing on your suggestion, the affiliate cookie will be set once the visitor comes to your site.

    Kind regards,
    George
