Affiliate area

Posted in

Hi,

I just bought this plugin a few hours ago. I should be honest, I have been in the wordpress development industry for the past 4 years, this is the most complex plugin I have ever worked with. I just want a simple Affiliate area dashboard with traffic stats and hits, commission earned and their affiliate link with a little decent format. When i created a affiliate area, it looks awful. I have been playing with your shortcodes for the past five hours. I am nowhere near to close. Do you happen have a decent affiliate area codes that we can actually use? Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend your product. It looks like, I couldn’t find any real tutorials on this plugin on your website. Please let me know if you do have one. Thanks.

And I don’t why affiliates have to receive this login page, shouldn’t they be directed to the affiliate login page when they sign up?

Thanks for joining the Affiliate Program.

    Hi John,

    Thank you for your feedback.
There is no offence taken, everyone deserves to have an opinion and we like to receive feedback. The plugin page has a short description of the functionality, while in the Documentation you will find the detailed description of all features and capabilities.

The shortcodes used in the default Affiliate area page and all the rest of the supported shortcodes can be seen in detail in the dedicated section of the documentation. Based on your description you should have a look at [affiliates_traffic] shortcode which displays detailed stats for your affiliates traffic.
Regarding the notification email, you can modify the template if you visit Affiliates > Notifications and use your affiliate are url instead of the default login page. There are two different template categories, for the Affiliate and for the site admin.

Apart from the documentation, this forum is the best place for customers to ask for questions, support and suggest new features.

Although I would choose not to compare it to other plugins because there are a lot of factors in order to make an objective comparison, I would assure you that Affiliates plugins are under constant development based on the feedback we receive by our users, including you.

    Kind regards,
    George
