Affiliate Pro V.4.4.0 crashing site

Posted in

I bought the Affiliate Pro V.4.4.0 plugin and when activating it, it appears in the WordPress 5.2.3 panel these three messages that are the same:

Notice: wp_script_is was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or queued until the wp_enqueue_scripts, admin_enqueue_scripts and login_enqueue_scripts hooks are loaded. Please visit Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.0.) In /home/btradingja/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4773

It has a solution?

Greetings.

    Hi David,

Alternatively you can disable debugging. After all once you move to your production server, debugging should be disabled.
FYI, although ti is very rare to have no solution to an issue, you can ask here.

    Kind regards,
    George

    good morning George

I put the “define (‘WP_DEBUG’, false)” and the messages still appear.

If there was no solution, as would be the procedure for repayment of the plugin.

    Greetings.

    Hi David,

FYI, the notice generated doesn’t affect the plugin’s functionality. It is only there to notify us that we should modify the way one of Affiliates scripts is loaded.
If you choose to add the option
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
in your wp-config.php, the notice will be still generated but won’t be displayed on your site. By hiding this notice, doesn’t mean that we are trying to “hide it under the carpet”, just to make it less irritating.

The main fact in your situation is that your site is not crashed, although we will also deploy an update which will address it.

    Kind regards,
    George

    HI David,

Thanks for providing access, the only thing missing is the ftp URL to your site.

    Cheers,
    George

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the detailed feedback.

Since your installation is local and from the fact that the warnings occur only when Impreza theme is activated then it would be useful to have a look at it. Another option you have is to deactivate all your plugins apart from Affiliates Pro while the active theme would be Impreza. If the warnings are still logged, try installing and activating Storefront and look at your debug.log file.

In the meantime I could check on my test installation why this is happening with Impreza theme once you provide us us a copy of it.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Good Morning.

I cannot give you access because the installation of WordPres is local. What information would you need?

    WordPress installation is from scratch.

I tested the Affiliates Pro plugin with the Twenty Nineteen theme and it works without problems, but with the Impreza 6.5 theme, purchased from themeforest, those error messages mentioned in the previous message are output.

The plugins installed and activated are: “Antivirus”, “Contact Form 7”, “Contact Form CFDB7”, “Classic Editor”, “GDPR Cookie Consent”, “Google Tag Manager for WordPress”, “Really Simple SSL”, “Slider Revolution “,” UpSolution Core “,” WPBakery Page Builder “,” Yoast SEO “.

The plugins installed and deactivated are: “Itthinx Updates”, “Affiliates Pro”, “Affiliates Export”.

    Greetings.

    Hi David,

    Sorry to hear that.
Would it be possible to have a look at your Dashboard and server? Since I don’t get the same warning on my test installation, I think it’s better to have a thorough look at your setup as this might even be related to another plugin conflicting with Affiliates plugin. You may send temp admin credentials and FTP access to george at itthinx dot com.

FYI, when there is a warning logged, it can only affect some features if any. A crashed website wouldn’t be accessible and would also send an automatic email to the site administrator regarding technical difficulties. No matter what the case is if the warning is directly related to Affiliates plugin, we will address it and if necessary deploy an update.

    Kind regards,
    George
