Affiliate Registration Information Stays in Browser

Posted in

My client is putting in Affiliate information. Sometimes they put in many at the same time. A problem they are running into is that after they put one affiliates information in, they have to clear the cache to be able to add another affiliate. They would add it from the backend, but that doesn’t trigger the emails. Is there a setting or some code I can use to clear the data from the form without manually clearing cache in browser.

Also, can I use a shortcode to add the affiliate link with id number to the notification email that the admin gets when an affiliate signs up? Right now they have to go into the backend and find it, which is time consuming for them.

Thanks!

Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

After registering an affiliate do you see the message
    Thanks for signing up!

Please check your email for the confirmation link.?
Have you tried simply to visit the Affiliates Area page again, by clicking a link or by writing the URL, not by refreshing?

For the moment, you can’t use shortcodes in the admin notification email but this sounds like a cool feauture that could be added in a future release.

    Kind regards,
    George
