Affiliates Campaign Management….

Hi there,

I was wondering whether someone could help?

I have just downloaded affiliate enterprise so that my affiliates can create SUBID’s on their campaigns, I know as an admin I can create separate campaigns and send me affiliates their links for tracking.

I just wanted to know if there is anyway an affiliate could create their own campaigns somehow and whether there was a shortcode or something I could add so that it was all automated and when an affiliate is signed it they can just create their own.

thanks in advance.

James

    Hi George,

sure thing will send you shortly, do you think there will ever be an update that would include custom / dynamic links or pixel tracking?

    thanks

    Hi James,

Sorry but currently the system cannot track custom URLs.
Can you provide admin access to your site to have a look at your form configuration? You can send your admin credentials to support at itthinx dot com alongside with a link to this topic.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi George,

this is what part of my form looks like on CF7

Email Address: [text email placeholder “Please enter your email address…”]

    [affiliate_name]

[submit class:buttoneffect id:btn_get_your_quote_now “GET YOUR QUOTE NOW”]

And on the HTML message I have

    Date Of Birth
    [menu-dob-day] / [menu-dob-month] / [menu-dob-year]

    Affiliate Code
    [affiliate_name] or [affiliate_id]

But its not getting the affiliate name – could I get it from the URL – basically I need to get emailed who the referal was from without the customer having to select from a drop down?

    does this make sense?

    thanks in advance

    James

    Hi George

I will try that but I don’t want to show that field on the form so I will hide it and see if it works..

Did you manage to find out anything regarding tracking dynamic affiliate links

    thanks

Probably the affiliate name or id are not submitted in the form. Check this out.

    Cheers

    Hi George,

I have tried adding the shortcodes to the HTML in contact from 7 but when I get the email it looks like this and doesnt have the information i need.

    Affiliate Code: [affiliate_name] or [affiliate_id]

Not sure why its doing this?

    Hi James,

The update is resolving the issue you have noticed on affiliates campaigns.

As for the mails you can use several tokens described here in the last section of the document.

    Cheers

    Hi George

I haven’t looked at this yet what updates are there on it?

Also is there anyway I can use an affiliate id or username on mail so when a new enquiry comes through I can see who the affiliate was?

    thanks

    😀

    Hi George,

do you know if there is anyway I can monitor pixel conversions?

I have added an iframe to a page on my site with a pixel and was wondering if there was anything I could do with the affiliates enterprise plugin to record it?

    thanks

    Hi George,

I was looking to track a varied/dynamic value and hopefully get back in the postback (display in hits / referall)

    thanks

    Hi James,

Could you perhaps be more specific about the transaction id? Which transaction are you referring to, or you just want to pass another parameter to the URL for instance?

    Cheers

    Hi George,

thank for getting back to me with an update.

Does affiliates enterprise support {transaction_id} TRANS ID ? I know i can use campaigns to create SUB ID’s but wondered if this was possible?

    thanks

    Hi James,

Yes you are right about that.

    Hi George,

thank you for the quick reply,

I have done what you have suggested and part of it works really well.

The only thing is I would like it to NOT show other campaigns other affiliates have set up if that is possible?

At the minute when I login under my affiliate to test it I can see a campaign I created for another affiliate?

Any ideas of how I can only show my own and create my own 😀

    thanks

    James

    Hi James,

Yes you can manage your campaigns using the shortcode [affiliates_manage_campaigns]. You can put it in your Affiliates Area page or create a new page and add the following,

    [affiliates_is_not_affiliate]

Please log in to access the affiliate area.

    [affiliates_login_redirect redirect_url="http://nuovo.gr/nttest/campaigns-page"]

    [/affiliates_is_not_affiliate]

    Welcome to Campaigns

    [affiliates_is_affiliate]
    [affiliates_manage_campaigns]

    Kind regards,
    George
