Award multi tiered affiliates on Sale or Upgrade of membership subscription

Good day, I am using a membership management system for which there is no affiliates enterprise integration. I do not want an integration. I therefore would like to set up a thank-you page for each membership level that the user will be redirected to after completing the appropriate subscription or upgrade. Each thank-you page will need to have a custom pixel (or shortcode) that recognizes that a plan has been purchased and triggers the appropriate commission for the subscribers permanent referrer. To achieve this, I would like the option to set up each of my products/membership levels in the affiliates enterprise settings and have a tracking pixel generated that can be embedded in the appropriate thank you page to record a sale.

I am having difficulty following the affiliates documentation. I suggest that it be rewritten with simplicity and step by step detail for persons like me who expect more value for money. This plugin has not been a cheap purchase and to date I have not been able to properly set it up even once.

    Hi John,

Affiliates MS works on a WP Multisite, so all the sites must belong to the same network of sites.
As for how to set it up, it depends on how you want to use the affiliates system. You can either setup Affiliates Enterprise on each site separately, or setup the membership system and Affiliates Enterprise on one site( the target site ) of the network. Still though, since your membership plugin is not supported, it requires a custom implementation/ integration with Affiliates Enterprise.

You can contact me in george at itthinx dot com.

    Kind regards,
    George

Hi George, In my downloads area I cannot find the Affiliates Woocommerce integration plugin. How do I get this plugin?

Thank You George, I have submitted the following ticket to the plugin developers requesting API details or an integration solution.

Good Day, Please send me the API information and/or instructions for the Ultimate membership Pro Plugin that would allow the itthinx affiliate plugin developers to help me with a solution to integrate the two.

Alternatively, please assist me with an integration with itthinx affiliate enterprise plugin whose detailed API information can be found here.

An example is also provided here

Ultimately I would like the affiliate plugin to recognize when an affiliate referral has converted to a membership level or upgraded to a new membership level and to trigger a commission for the referring affiliate and the appropriate members of his up-line.

I would also need the affiliate plugin to recognize when a membership has been cancelled or a trial has been refunded and to trigger an action to cancel the recurring commission or to reverse the pending commission respectively

George, I also have subsites that each have a built in membership system (same theme) that I would like to trigger an affiliate commission whenever a new membership is registered one one or more of these sites. The directory sites will all be subsites and the affiliate program will still be centralized on the main site. How can I have Affiliates enterprise and Affiliates MS recognize when a new membership is registered on these satellite websites?

Finally, the eCommerce installation is not on the site that handles the affiliate program. Will I have to activate the affiliates enterprise on that site and allow it to have its own affiliate management system or will Affiliates MS still record the product sales and trigger commissions for the referring affiliate.

Please give me a email address where I can share privately what I am working on.

    Hi John,

Thank for sharing this. Your plugin is a premium plugin and from what i’ve checked so far, the developer doesn’t share info on the plugin API. If we can have access to the API or if the developer can share a lead to us like how we can hook a function after payment or checkout, it would be a lot easier.

Actually, setting up Affiliates MS plugin is pretty simple. You will select one site of your multisite to act as the target site and there you should install Affiliates Enterprise and your e-commerce solution alongside with its integration with Affiliates Enterprise. Finally, you should select the target site under Affiliates MS options.

When there is a new visitor referred by one of your affiliates, the affiliate gets a potential referral. If this visitor buys something using your e-commerce system, the affiliate gets credited with a referral and is granted a commission. Commissions are calculated based on the options you select in Affiliates Enterprise.

To conclude, Affiliates system works the same way like a single site. The main difference is that with Affiliates MS, referrals can be recorded by any/all the sites of your network.

If you haven’t noticed it already, you can also find instructions on how to setup Affiliates MS after installing it, in Affiliates MS options page.

    Cheers

    Hi George,
I am using Ultimate Membership Pro .

I found the instructions regarding setting up in the multisite environment to need a lot more detail. I am unclear how to set up the affiliates plugin to centrally record affiliate activity from all sub-sites on a multisite network.

    Hi John,

You can achieve this without a tracking pixel. Although pixel tracking is supported by Affiliates Enterprise, you can simply add a referral after the payment is completed or after checkout.
If your plugin uses hooks, you can trigger a custom function after payment or checkout, retrieve the user referrer and add a referral as described in the documentation. Therefore, you can use a single thank you page simply to give a user friendly notice to your customers that the process is complete.

Although the above requires custom development, the plugin API is available for you to use it.
Which plugin are you using for subscriptions, so that i can further assist you where to start.

Which section of the documentation did you find difficult to follow?
Recommendations and suggestions are always welcome.

    Kind regards,
    George
