We haven’t done anything with the affiliate system for a while now but am getting back into it today.
I did a few test email submissions earlier but im not getting the referral email notification anymore. We always had them come through before so not sure what the issuer is.
We are getting the initial email which is sent, but we dont have any reference who generated the enquiry without the notifications working.
I have CF7 Intergration but this always worked before. We have notifications settings checked and have the same email we used before.
Everything is exactly the same as it was when we previously used it so don’t understand why the notifications have stopped.
Please get back to me asap as we want to get the affiliates working for us again

Hi George.
Looks like your correct about the cookies being dropped by the Varnish cache on the site.
I put the site into development mode which removes Varnish cache from the server. I tested the affiliate links with the forms again and now working perfectly again.

I’m hosting with Flywheel and i think, they use varnish on the servers. I will ask them about the cookies being dropped.
Let me go back to them and ask them about it.

Hi Ben,
I’ve checked your site and seems that the affiliate cookie is not stored.
This can be the result of a conflicting plugin or your theme or even a caching functionality in your server that blocks it.
If your site is hosted in WP-Engine you should contact their support and ask them to exclude the Affiliate URL parameter from caching according to this guide. If your server is utilizing Varnish Cache there is a possibility that cookies are dropped.
If this is not your case, please create a staging copy of your site where I can freely debug your plugins and theme without interfering with your live site. Also, please forward me a copy of your debug.log file to check for existing conflicts if any, since the file is not publicly accessible.

I have PM’d your login details for the website to the email you sent.
I have also changed the wp-config.php file as you requested.
I had a new user registered email notification come from the site so thinking my issue is with the plugin or the C7 integration plugin addon.

Edit your wp-config.php file and replace the following line:
define('WP_DEBUG', false );with these lines:
define('WP_DEBUG', true );define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
after that, any errors will be added to a file named debug.log under your wp-content folder.

I purchased another license and have updated the plugin to the latest version.
I still dont get any notification emails.
The affiliate doesnt get anything and we dont get any notification sent to the admin address we used.
Ill ask my host to look at this for us too. I dont know whats happening tbh. We get the initial emails sent to the contact forms but the affiliate links dont work or the notification or referral emails.

Sorry to bother you again. Can i send you (PM) access to the website so you can have a look and test out the plugin please.
Im really not sure why this is happening. We are getting the emails sent via CF7 so the website is sending mail just fine.
Its like the enquiries are not even registered being sent via an affiliate link. I think maybe the issue isnt with the website not sending mail but with the integration of the Affiliate plugin and CF7. At the moment its like they are not working together anymore.

Your license is valid for one year of updates and support.
After that, you will be able to have and use the plugin(s) but you won’t be able to update.
You can always renew your license with a 50% discount which is applied automatically for existing customers on checkout.

I dont understand. I have the Itthinx Updates plugin installed all the time but my plugin has not been updating?
My version is 2.15.0
I have tried to download a latest version but i dont see my link anywhere in my console, says i need license but havent a already bought one?
Has everyone got to buy another license after a period of time or something, im confused.
Ill look over all the emails ive ever had and see if i can find one.

Ah, let me try the update, Thanks for posting your response George.
Like i say, the initial email send to the contact form is coming through just fine and havent noticed any issues getting enquiries from them.
I was just the notification from a referral that im not getting anymore. Lets hope just need to update the plugin.

Make sure that your site is sending emails in general and check your debug.log for issues.
FYI, your installed version of Affiliates Pro is outdated and you should upgrade to the latest version 3.0.1.
