I have my site set so that all affiliate applications need to be approved. After an affiliate registers the following online message appears:
“Thanks for signing up! Please check your email for the confirmation link. Log in here.”
The problem I have is whilst their application is still pending admin approval, they are not able to log in and, although a pending approval email is sent to them, there is no actual “confirmation link” in the email.
Which file do I need to edit (via cPanel) to change this online registration message?

I’m Antonio. You can use the ‘affiliates_check_confirmation_text’ filter. Here you have a code that you can add in your functions.php file of your child theme.

Thanks for your quick reply and assistance. However, when I put the code you provided in my theme function.php, the code shows up in the header on every page.
Would it help if I provided you with cPanel access?
