Trying to sort out my base referral rate for most affiliates – which is 5% per sale (on a $10.00 sale this only worked out as $0.45c)
I then went into a affiliate I wanted to give more % to and changed it theirs to referral rate 50% – it still gave the invoice sale of 0.45c
I have paid for affiliate pro and it is installed correctly.
no I have the lite non-paid version.
However I have paid for Pro and have that installed?

One note on the referral rate, the commissions are calculated based on the net order amount. If your order amount includes taxes and shipping, the commission is calculated based on the net order amount with these deducted. I.e. a $50 gross total at a 10% rate won’t grant $5 commission but a lower one.

Thank you -I have done both the above settings.
In the default referral amount calculation there is a dropdown menu on the default referral calculation value – do I select “Affiliates_referral::example_referral_amount_method” or “none”
Which is how what I have to choose since putting in the setting information you provided.
I tried both ways – and still the individual affiliate with 50% discount still only has the 5% discount.

Do you have installed the Woocommerce integration?
Sorry I have just affiliates pro installed.

I assume you have Affiliates Pro and Woocommerce Integration Pro.
Check that you have:
– In Affiliates->Woocommerce Integration. Selected “Enable product referral rates” and set 0.05 as default rate.
– In Affiliates->Settings. Select “Referral Amount Method” as “Default referral calculation” and “Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rate” as “Default referral calculation value”.
