Contact Form 7 Notification Email

I have searched the forum but I did not see the answer.

What do I need to do to add the referral Id to on the contact form 7 form so it will show up in the initial email. All I am doing is collecting leads by referral source from the sign up form, there is no product being purchased.

    That’s great!
I will also mark your other topic as resolved with a link here for future reference.

    Cheers

I see. I have also installed the plugin you are using. If you use the token [dynamictext dynamicname “CF7_URL”], you get the current URL. So, from that you can retrieve the affiliate’s id. The only condition with this is to share as an affiliate link, the link of your page containing the form.

I have installed this plugin which appears to allow you to do custome tokens but I have been unable to make it work

I actually am tracking them from cf7 direct to contactus.com. I map the fields to contactus within cf7 form data. So my questions is there any way to add the affiliate_id or referrer in contact form 7 form to send the info to contActus

Please correct me if i’m wrong, you are tracking referrals after a form has been submitted. So, when a visitor submits the form, the referral is recorded. This is why the tokens availiable in CF7 can also be used with Affiliates Notifications and not vise versa, as mentioned in the documentation.
However, if you are using affiliates system on a different concept, please let me know if we can work out a solution.

    Kind regards,
    George

Is it is possible to have the referral_id in the contact form itself. I have using a third party http://www.contactus.com which outputs all of the data from the form and it would be extremely helpful to have the id, perhaps hiddedn? Any suggestions?

    Hi Dave,

If you want the referral_id to be sent to the administrator, you can use the token [referral_id] which will render the referral_id when a new user signs up. It can be added to the notification email under Affiliates>Notifications.

    Kind regards,
    George
