Coupon remuneration – One month free trial

Posted in

Hello,
I’m writing to you as I have quite a specific question,
indeed I offer on my website a subscription of £39.99 a month and I get customers in by offering a one month free trial, one of my affiliate has access to his own coupon and generates referral via his discount link and is paid on each referral.

the thing that would be very important is to see how much money does his referral actually bring in.
that is to say how many of his clients referral pay the £39.99 after the end of the one month free trial.

That would allow me to adapt his commission system.

Do your plugin offer this service?

How can I check how much my referral from M-1 brought in, in M

    Hey Gildun,

The main purpose of Affiliates plugin is to track and grant commissions on referred orders. The orders and subscriptions themselves are recorded and handled by WC and WC Subscriptions and whether a subscription is renewed or not is a feature that IMHO fits more for WC Subscriptions.

Affiliates can also track and grant referrals on renewals, which can give you another hint on which subscriptions are renewed but for those subscriptions that are not referred by an affiliate when customers come straight to your shop, then you won’t be able to track these. IMO you should have a look at WC Subscriptions documentation and check if there is an option to see statistics on which subscriptions have been renewed and which haven’t.

    Kind regards,
    George

But that would imply that I have to check every single individual order a month after and determine for every single one of them if they yielded any money?
There’s no automatic way ? as I have quite a big number of orders ..

    Hi Gildun,

Many thanks for using our Affiliates plugin on your site.

If you check under Affiliates > Referrals you can see all the referrals recorded by your affiliates and using the Filters provided you can narrow down the list of displayed results according to the options chosen. If you choose to Expand details and Expand data you can see the details for the order involved in this referral and also a link to the actual order, so you can work out if this subscription has been renewed or not.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers,
    George
