I have an affiliate that wants to give a higher coupon percentage to his community as well as receive a higher commission than I usually give. Is there a way to do this?

FYI, coupons are used as a tool to grant a specific affiliate with a commission instead of using the affiliate link.
Other possible ways to give a specific commission to a specific affiliate would be by using a product category or even a product. All these can be set in Rates and you can either create a new or edit an existing rate. Each time a customer is referred, the system will look in your rates list and apply the one that matches.

Great, thanks. What about a custom coupon just for that affiliate that’s higher than what I give others (say 30%)?
Hi Brian,
Yes you can by using Rates under Affiliates > Rates.
After adding a new rate and define the commission rate/amount that will apply, you can select the Affiliate for that rate. Whenever there is a referral where the aforementioned affiliate is involved, he will get a commission based on the rate set.
