How do I make a customer an affiliate because they can’t reregister because the username and email already exist. I want some of the customers to be affiliates as well, I added the affiliate group to the customer but they can’t login as affiliate yet

Welcome back to our support channel.
Your customers can become affiliates themselves if after logging into your site they go to the Affiliates Dashboard and complete the affiliate registration form. For logged-in users the form will be pre-filled with their user data.
If you wish -as admin- to make them affiliates then you should go to Affiliates > Manage Affiliates, click on New Affiliate button and enter the necessary data. This should be done for each one of your users.
Apart from these options there is also a third one where you can automatically create affiliate entries for each new user on your site using the premium addon Affiliates Users. As for your existing users there is also an option to import them and create affiliate accounts for those already registered on your site.
