However I think I just found an error in the documentation for ‘Groups Import’ – it says, convert your .csv file to a .csv file instead of a .csv format to a .txt format. The images shown are correct, but in number 4 & 5 it should state .txt format.

If you are referring to How to import users in bulk, at point #4 we are talking about setting up an import file in excel or a similar application and then convert the file to csv, ready for importing.
