Is possible solution for auto-generating coupons in WooCommerce with username and auto assign them to affiliates?

Example: John Madison create new account with username john. System atomatically create new coupon with prefix (AFF) and create new coupon: AFFjohn. This coupon show in affiliate area to John.

If not possible, need someone who can do extension for us.
Thanks very much.

    Hi,
Is it possible to automatically create a Woocommerce coupon for new affiliates ? (That is: a coupon that the affiliate can hand out to prospective customers.) It would be great if it could replicate an existing (template) coupon 🙂

The option for the template coupon is something we’ve been considering as well. As it is right now, it’s limited to a subset though.

      Hi,

Do you mean to assign affiliates a coupon they can hand out to customers and get credit for purchases? Or do you mean coupons that can be limited to affiliates?

If it’s the first case, we’re finally about to release a version for that. The second has a solution as well but isn’t completely reviewed for release yet.

Coupon ids is not good solution withou prefix. If we will start with affiliate. First coupons will probably looks like: 1,2,3,4,5,6. It’s not good 😀 There must be some prefix. It’s not important, if prefix will be numeric (ids) or text (username).

Next thing, must be some solution, to mass update affiliate coupons for all affiliates. There will be for example 1000’s affiliate and we need manage value their coupons “by one click”. If just create one coupon with name “1000” and then just add ID of affiliate – 100001. System recognizes only last numbers of affiliate and give them commission.

Thank you for your support, guys.

Are you able to do this?

    • kento May 31, 2013 at 11:04 am #

Yes, actually there are two extensions related to coupons that are pending release. One is to reward affiliates with coupons, the other to generate coupons for affiliates. Both will be released in a few days, does that work for you?

One question regarding the coupon ids, the extensions will automatically generate new unique coupon ids but these do not cover the scheme you are mentioning as e.g. AFFjohn, any problem with that?
