How do I create a custom coupon for my affiliate?

I purchased the affiliate plugin and the affiliate coupon plugin. I want to give my affiliates a custom coupon code each so they can promote on social media. I want t give them a code, of their name plus a number so for example ‘stephen20’ or something like that. I’m using wordpress and woocommerce. how do I do this?

    Hey George,
Its working now! 😀 😀 You were correct, I didn’t have the itthnix updates plugin installed so the woocommerce plugin was appearing properly. Installed the itthnix updates plugin and installed the woocommerce plugin and now its all working properly.
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi TJ,

Please check if you are using Affiliates WooCommerce Integration. If this plugin is not installed, then you should install it through Affiliates > Settings under Integrations tab.

    Cheers,
    George

I tried this and put through a test purchase but using the affiliate coupon assigned to the affiliate in a separate browser using a separate email account but the transaction does not appear in the affiliate/referrals/traffic reports. There is nothing showing at all.

Please see the purchase confirmation screenshot and the affiliate dashboard screnshot here:

    Hi TJ,

You can only create coupons with names manually under WooCommerce > Coupons. After creating those coupons you should go to Affiliates > Manage Affiliates and click on Edit for the desired affiliate. The coupon code can be added as a new coupon attribute. You can see the description in the documentation as well.

If you just use the {affiliate_id} token, the auto-generated coupons will only have the affiliate id, so the result in your screenshot is normal.

    Cheers,
    George

When I tried to create anew affiliate, having set the coupon prefix in affiliate coupons to {affiliate_id} it just created a coupon code called ‘4’ for the new affilate. See the screenshot here: https://www.screencast.com/t/BvhFcjNGIe

    Hi TJ,

You can only add affiliates’ names to coupon codes.
Affiliates Coupons supports the feature to add as a prefix either the affiliate id with {affiliate_id} token, {random,n} if you prefer to add a random number with length n or {count} which inserts the number of coupons created for the current affiliate.

You have an interesting suggestion though and i will check if this feature can be added in a future update of the plugin.

    Kind regards,
    George

How do I set this up with their name? If i paste {affiliate_id} in the coupon prefix will this create the coupon with their name? It should be a feature that the admin can just create a coupon code.
If I create a normal coupon with woocommerce, can i assign this coupon to an affiliate?
