Hi,
emails from the plugin are sent from an address that is not allowed, this one:
wordpress@[edited]
it is a subdomain on a multi site
and so, emails are not getting sent.
how can i change the email form which messages are being sent?
I cannot locate the field where the email From is specified

Hi Idoa,
The Affiliates plugin uses the ‘wp_mail’ WordPress email, so is WordPress who defines the sender information. This post talks about to change the sender, maybe this can help you.
