Hi,
When I go to Affiliates->Visits & Referrals page and check “Expand hits” and “Expand referrals”, then I see that lots of information comes up that the Affiliates Pro plugin have saved in database about each referral!!
I don’t need these detail information! These information are making my database heavy and that’s definitely not what I’m looking for!!
How can I stop the plugin from storing these extra info?
Please help me I need to stop this a.s.a.p.

I see it is just a concern.:)
Sure the size of the database might affect the performance, but still none has reported such issues. Even with installations running more than 1000 affiliates( which is still low in db terms ), the plugin performs normally.

I’m worrying about my database size to grow gradually as the time goes on and affiliates start referring to my site…
As you know database size effects the site performance a lot, a lighter database is always better than a heavier one.
Soon I will have lots of affiliates that each of them are going to refer lots of new visitors… Imagine lots of useless IP addresses and data that are stored in to the database! Data that I don’t even need! These information will definitely effect my database performance gradually… Maybe not at the moment, but in long term, my database is bloated.

Affiliate visits and hits are features embedded in the core functionality of the plugin.
Furthermore, this amount of information is low enough to affect the performance of the plugin and the site in general based on the reports of performance measurement plugins like P3, Debug Bar and Query monitor. I’ve performed tests with Affiliates Pro activated/deactivated and still the query for visits and hits doesn’t affect the overall performance of the plugin, let alone the whole site.
