Issue with activating plugin “affiliates-banner.php”

Posted in

Hello, we had to deactivate our plugin and after reactivating it we’re getting an error. affiliates-banner.php on line 2

Fatal error: Call to a member function has_cap() on a non-object in /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/affiliates-pro/lib/ext/wordpress/class-affiliates-banner.php on line 2

is there a simple fix to this?

PS- I just removed all code from that php file and it worked. We won’t be using the banners within this plugin so I’m assuming this is safe to do?

    Hi Jeramiah,
Checking the code I can not find this function in this file and line. Please try to redownload the plugin and reinstall it, maybe your files are corrupt.
If the problem persists you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic and I’ll have a look at this.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
