Latest version hides all content

Hi.
I am using the Groups Restricted Categories on this site cykelteket.dk. It has been working great until I updated it. I was using 1.2.0 and it was working fine. The problem is, that all content is now hidden on all pages with version 1.3.1. For instance the content on the frontpage, the about page and the contact page is all hidden and it should not be.
Do you have any idea of what could be the problem?

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for providing access to your site.

    Everything seems to work normally, as admin i have access to the categories that are assigned to my groups.
    As an unregistered user i can see the product categories that don’t have access restriction, which is normal too.
    The only problem i’ve noticed is that you have this line current_user_can('your_capability'); in Appearance>Menu, in the visibility field under the Product Category Transponder, which shouldn’t be there.
    If you remove that it will work normally.
    If there are other items that are hidden, please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    George

    Hi Paul,

    Can you provide us with admin access to your site?
    If it is a production site, make a full backup( files and database) and send your admin credentials to support [at] itthinx [dot] com and don’t forget to include a link to this topic.

    Cheers
    George

    OK. Disregard the broken site – typo on my part.

    Nothing in the debug.log as yet.

    Certain seems that it’s the unrestricted group that is effected.

    Hi Paul,

    Other reasons causing a 500 error apart from a plugin conflict( which you already covered) are:

    php memory limit
    a corrupted .htaccess file
    corrupted core files

    Make sure though to take a full backup of your site, both files and database.
    The content folder mentioned in your debug.log is your installation folder?

    Kind regards,
    George

    Additional – I have disabled all active plugins via phpmyadmin and it still chucks a 500 error.

    Error log is not very helpful :

    [Thu May 28 05:33:05 2015] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does not exist: /home/wwwcroco/public_html/content

    The public items are being hidden, Groups is up to date.

    I added the lines to wp-config, and then disabled the plugin and it broke the site ???
    Removing the lines the site is still down so I’m puzzled very much.

    Hi Paul,

    Which items are hidden?
    Please make sure you are running also the latest version of Groups plugin 1.5.3 and if you have debugging enabled, please attach debug.log to support [at] itthinx [dot] com. Also, don’t forget to include a link to this topic.

    You can enable debugging if you edit wp-config.php and replace
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false );
    with

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
    define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );

    then add a file named debug.log to wp-content folder and try the plugin again.

    Kind regards
    George

    I am running 1.3.2 and the same issue is still present, most items are hidden. Disable the mod and all is well ????

    Hi,

    Thanks for pointing that out, there was indeed a bug introduced in 1.3.0 as it seems that causes this. Please update to version 1.3.2 which fixes this issue.

    Cheers
