levels and commissions

Hi.

Thanks for a such great plugin! I see it’s potential, i see it can do a lot – but i just can’t figure out how to do what i need.

I have:
Affiliate Enterprise
Affiliate Permanent
Woocommerce Integration

Schema is:
CustA –has_invited–> Cust B –has_invited–> Cust C

What i need is:
a) Manually bind that CustC is a referral for CustB and that CustB is referral
for CustA (it is done via Affiliate permanent. or it is done via referral link. It is working. It is ok.).

b) What is not working and of corse – most important:
I need that when CustC makes a purchase HIMSELF CustB will be granted 10%, and cust A will be granted 2% reward.
Accordingly when CustD (child of CustC) will make a purchase, CustC will get 10%, and CustB will get 2% (Cust A will get nothing).

My bet – it’s doable, but i can’t figure out how.

Can you please point me to a precise manual, or explanation on how to do it?

Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for your answer. I do appretiate that.

But before going any further, let me just clear out one thing.
You say “But remember that to generate the referral, CustC must uses the affiliate’s link.”

Is it mandatory, for CustC to visit that link? i mean – really “MUST”? (maybe SHOULD, or MAY be enought?)

What’s happening in my case – my clients are not exchanging links, they are more like ordinary people, “exchanging aff links” is IT guru stuff for them. But they do sell my store one to each other while working together, having lunch and etc.

So for me it’s enough only verbal message from CustB – “ok, Pavel, CustC is my client” – and i do believe them, and i want to reflect it on the system.
I hope for one-or-two simple steps, to make CustC affiliate of CustB.

But if I’m required to emulate CustC connection, visit the link being logged as CustC for system to notice it – makes it a pain. (doable, but 100% pain..)

    so, the question is:
Is there a way, that admin could bind CustC as a affiliate of CustB, without CustC visiting any links, while CustC and CustB already registered at the store?(so only admin’s actions are required on the dashboard)?

      Hi Pavel,

If I understand you correctly, you simply want to reflect that CustC has been referred by CustB through the admin section. You can do that as follows:

      1. Create the affiliate account for CustC under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates click New Affiliate and indicate CustC under Username (assuming that it’s the login for CustC – this relates the new affiliate entry to the customer’s user account). If the customer already is an affiliate, you can of course skip this step.
      2. Under Affiliates > Manage Affiliates, click the edit link for CustC and under Tiers > Referrer select CustB and click the Assign button.

This adds CustC to CustB’s downline.

I hope that helps, please let us know if you need further help on that.

      Cheers

    Hi,
please be sure CustC is using his custom link. The referrals are created when a customer makes a purchase using CustC’s link, not when CustC makes a purchase.
In your case, you need 1 tier, in Affiliates->Tiers you need to enable multi tier select 1 level, and set value 0.02.
In Affiliates->Woocommerce Integration you can set the level 0 (default rate) to 0.10 and select “Enable product referral rates”.
Then in Affiliates->Settings select “Referral amount method” and “Affiliates_WC_Method::product_rate”.
With this setup all must work fine. But remember that to generate the referral, CustC must uses the affiliate’s link.
    cheers
