My affiliate needs a password

How can I create/send an affiliate a password? I created an affiliate account and they said they have not received a password.

Affiliate entries and user accounts are different entities which can be related, but they do not necessarily need to be related. When you create a new affiliate in the Affiliates > Manage Affiliates section, you do not create a new user account for the affiliate. You can relate an existing user account to the entry. If you want to add an affiliate and relate it to a user account that allows the affiliate to log in, first create the new user account (and make sure to check the box to send the password), then create the affiliate and indicate the user’s name in the appropriate field.
