New affiliates in pending, when they should be active

Using the affiliates pro plugin with the user registration plugin for Gravity forms.

I’ve set up settings so that new affiliates are active and the correct settings on the Gravity Form, so when users join a pending affiliate is created https://www.staging.buyassociation.co.uk/join

But i can’t get them to be active on registration.

I’ve tried the obvious things, looked at guides etc set new users to allowed, affiliates set to active etc

The main thing i’m seeing is

Affiliate Registration > Allow affiliate registration > Status active

Still puts them as pending? Am i missing something obvious?

      Hi,

I’m just following up here in case someone else has experienced the same thing, we have released an update to the integration which fixes the issue with the affiliate status.

The Affiliates Users plugin is not needed for this case, in fact it is not recommendable to have it activated if you allow affiliates to register via the Affiliates Dashboard or as here via a specific form – that would result in duplicate affiliate accounts being created. We’re going to refund you the purchase for Affiliates Users if that’s ok, I don’t think you will need it for your deployment.

      Cheers

    Hi there!

When you have the following settings under Affiliates > Settings > Registration it should effectively create new affiliate accounts registered through that form as active:

    – [x] Allow affiliate registration
    – Status Active

I’ve just done a few tests again and am getting new affiliate accounts created with the correct status. I.e. when I visit Affiliates > Manage Affiliates the entries are appropriately showing Pending or Active according to the setting used at the time they have registered.

Do you think that there could be any other component interfering in the registration process? If you would like us to have a look at your settings and help with tests, please forward temporary admin credentials in reply to the email I will send you in a few moments.

    Cheers
