Hello,
Our Affiliates Pro > Totals show all Affiliates with a total of 0 (despite dozens of orders).
Looking through the history — we notice this has happened after relaunch, is there way to “reassociate” affiliates with the order data?

Hey Jason,
Yes, it makes more sense now. If there are no rates defined on your system, not even a generic rate then each new referral will be zero. You can do a test referral and check what is recorded, then add a new rate and repeat the test.
The commission calculation depends on the Commission Method defined in Affiliates > Settings > Commissions(tab) and the recommended Method selected there should be Rates, because the rest of the methods are legacy options. This in turn will calculate all commissions by the rates set in Affiliates > Rates. In case you have legacy rates, ie affiliate-specific rates, you can use the respective button(s) and migrate them to rates.
Kind regards,
George
Hey George,
The data that is showing up as 0 is data from AFTER relaunch, so I think there’s an associative issue, not a missing data issue… does that make sense?
On the other hand, the rates relate to the calculation of the referral commission, when a referral is tracked.
If there’s nothing in the Rates table in the admin, but there’s a percentage assigned to each user — would the lack of data in the Rates table be the cause of the missing percentages? Would recreating the rates (and the associations with each Affiliate) possibly address this issue?
Does the calculation rely on the data from the table, or the data affixed to each Affiliate?
Hey Jason,
Thanks for the additional info on this. The Totals report relates directly to your referrals, hence my question about the contents found in Affiliates > Referrals report. On the other hand, the rates relate to the calculation of the referral commission, when a referral is tracked.
What do you get if you go to Affiliates > Referrals and then if you go again to Affiliates > Totals and Clear your filters, so that the report includes referrals of any status?
From your description and findings it looks as if some of your Affiliates tables are missing data. In case you partially imported your database, I would recommend you to import it again fully, perhaps first in a new staging site.
Also, in case you’re using any of the plugins listed here, https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/troubleshooting/alleged-optimization-plugins/, I would recommend you to avoid them because as mentioned in this page, they can be responsible even for loss of data. During the db-optimization process, these plugins can delete db tables for no valid reasons.
Kind regards,
George
The Rates Table found here: {/wp-admin/admin.php?page=affiliates-admin-rates}
Is empty, even though pre-existing users have rates assigned.
Could this be affecting the Totals?
Do I need to manually recreate everyone’s rate in that table?
If I go here: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=affiliates-admin-totals
Filters:
Referral Status: ACCEPTED
Date Range: {Last Month – All of June 2025} (we relaunched May 15th)
And I look at all the totals for ANY affiliate, the totals column shows 0 — which is making it difficult to know what to pay my affiliates.
The list contains all the affiliates who had their coupon codes applied but not their Totals.
I’ve reviewed the affiliates themselves — they have both Coupon Codes and percentages assigned, but the Totals are 0.
Relaunch entailed rebuilding the website from the ground up, didn’t change servers, but worked on a staging server, then migrated back into the existing server.
Hi Jason,
Welcome to our support forum for Affiliates Pro.
Can you please share some more information on your reports? When you mention that totals are zero, does it mean that there are no results rendered? Or do you get your affiliates listed but each one has a total of 0(zero)? What records do you get in Affiliates > Referrals and Affiliates > Manage Affiliates?
Last but not least, what did your relaunch include? Did you migrate to a new server or installed Affiliates Pro again?
Kind regards,
George
