Not able to remove affiliates permanently

Posted in

I am using affiliate pro plugin

Now i have two issues:-

1.

I am unable to delete any affiliate permanently

When i am deleting them through Affiliate->Manage Affiliate , they showed that affiliate removed successfully.

But when i want to register user with same mail-id or username even user is deleted the form says that username and email-id is already in use.

Why? And how can i rectify that?

2.

When a user registers i want to show him custom success message which is:-

Thank you for applying

Your info is submitted to admin for approval

You will get the login details once approved by admin

Thanks

to the user after hitting submit button when registered successfully.

How can i do that?

So according to you, if i want to remove an affiliate permanently then i have to remove it from both section that is from affiliate section as well as from users section too?

    Am i right?

    Please let me know.

      Hi,
Really you don’t need to remove the wordpress user.
If you remove an affiliate from the Affiliates section only, the wordpress user still exists, but does not belong to the affiliates program.
In the future he can be re-affiliated if he wants. But this user need to join to the affiliates program, do not register on it (because the user already exists).
I hope I have helped you and not lose you even more.
      Kind Regards,
      Antonio B.

    Hi Andreas,
1.- Remember that went you remove an affiliate, the user associated is not removed. You could:
    – remove the affiliate and the wordpress user
    – or remove only the affiliate, login with the wordpress user and from the affiliate-area re-join to the affiliate program (a new affiliate will be created and associated to this wordpress user).
2.- You can use the ‘redirect’ and ‘redirect_to’ params of the [affiliates_registration] shortcode.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
