not tracking subscriptions (again)

Posted in

I am grateful to George for finding the line of code that had to be adjusted so that the plugin would track subscriptions. It worked fine since he applied the fix. It seems to not work again and the only adjustment I made was that I updated the plugin on the latest release. Please help me get this resolved again.
Thank You
I have restored admin credentials as in the previous time you assisted me.
Hopefully you will remember what you did so this can be an easy fix.

    Hi Jerry,

    Thank you for your patience.

The Affiliates WooCommerce plugin has been updated to version 1.7.0. This new version fixes the issue with recurring commissions on subscription renewals, so everything works as it should.
The issue occured because of an update in WooCommerce Subscriptions which introduced a new way of hooking to a renewal-recurring subscription.

    Cheers,
    George

In January you asked me to create a staging site for you to check plugins
Your check concluded that there was a problem with Affiliates WooCommerce Integration which you resolved locally (on my site) and said it would be addressed in the next update.
I installed the most recent update and the problem came back because it appears the issue was not resolved in the most recent update.
How much longer do you expect it will take to resolve the conflict with Affiliates WooCommerce Integration
    and
Will all the referral orders from February and now the first week of March show up once you fix the problem (like they did last time)?
I really don’t mean to pester you, I just want to know what to tell my affiliates who were expecting to get paid on the 1st.

I’ve checked your dashboard but it seems that there are a lot of issues logged in debug.log.
Could you please enable your staging site, i would like to disable plugins that are causing warnings and issues to keep the log clean.

    Cheers

    Thanks for that Jerry!
    I’ll keep you posted.

I deleted the file log and successfully created a new account.
Affiliates pro tracked the new registration along with the appropriate compensation.
Hopefully the new debug log will give you the information required to restore the missing subscription referrals generated in February and provide some direction to insure the problem is permanently resolved.
    Thanks again for your help.

    Thanks for the info Jerry.

You can delete your debug.log file, then recreate it and make a test purchase.
The corrections cannot be undone, since the updated version of the plugin is released.

    Cheers,
    George

It appears wp debugging has been active since the last time you were troubleshooting.
    The log is rather large.
Could I have undone the corrections you made to the plugin when I processed the most recent update?
I have not added any new plugins or changed settings within affiliates.
Thanks for your assistance. I hope we can resolve this once and for all.

    Hi Jerry,

I will have a look on your Dashboard.
In case you added a new plugin since then, please let me know. Also, enable WP debugging to keep track of anything logged there.

    Cheers,
    George
