Passing an Affiliate From one WordPress Site to Another

Posted in

Not being much of a developer and not understanding the technology well enough, I’m hoping someone else can answer this question. I have a core WordPress eCommerce site (mydomain.com) where I currently have Affiliates Pro installed. I have a separate WordPress site installed in a sub folder (mydomain.com/sp) where I have various landing pages for specific products. I want to allow affiliates to direct traffic to landing pages on mydomain.com/sp and track their referrals when the customer clicks through to add to cart and checkout on mydomain.com. Can this be done? If so do I need to do anything special in the installation of the plugin on either of the two wordpress installs?

Thanks in advance,

Jacob

    Hi Jacob,
Affiliates need to share a link of the wordpress site where the plugin is installed.
In this case you would have to use an iframe based solution or something similar adjusted to your requirements.
The system is not supporting such a configuration by default.
