I just ran through my first test with an affiliate link. Seems to be working well! I’m running it with WooCommerce on my site. My product is a digital download and normally once a payment goes through the order is automatically completed so that the download is sent right away to the customer. With the affiliate purchase — the order is showing as pending — and the email with the access link to the product has not been sent. How can I set this up so that the affiliate orders are automatically completed and sent to the customers without me manually having to approve each one? Thanks!

Hi George. I’ve made that adjustments. So just to confirm — the the pending option unchecked and under processing orders the options to mark referrals as accepted when the order is processing selected when orders come in from my affiliates they will automatically be marked as completed correct?
These settings under WooCommerce Integration, apply for the status of the referral if they are enabled, not for the order itself.
You can uncheck the pending option and under processing orders you can check the option to mark referrals as accepted when the order is processing.

Because it sends another email once I go in and mark the order as completed. I just want the single email sent right after the purchase the product.
Thanks George. The email with the access link did end of sending it was just a bit delayed for some reason. I’ve read the documentation but it’s still a bit confusing. I would like all orders to automatically be set as completed. Under Affiliate > Settings > Referral I have the default referral status set at Accepted. What should I unselect under Affiliates > WooCommerce Integration for the orders to automatically be completed? I’m thinking I unselected the Pending Orders option?

You can adjust the referral status automatically in WooCommerce Integration depending on the order status. For more info, you can have a look at the documentation for the Integration.
As for WooCommerce, you can allow products to be downloaded after payment is completed, even if the order is not completed. You can have a look at WooCommerce>Settings>Products>Downloadable Products.
