we are using the Pro versin and are NOT sure if we may/should close referrals!?
Using Woocommerce Subcriptions our customers are charged in periods (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
An Affiliate partner gets commission as a customers “lifetime”, meaning evrytime the customer is charged by automatic and recurring payments!!
We think if we CLOSE the referrals – the Affiliate partner will no longer get a cimmission after. Even if the customer (who was brought by the affiliate) ist still paying.
Can you help please?

The minimum requirement for a recurring referral to be recorded for an affiliate, is to already have a referral on the original order that hasn’t been rejected. So you can safely mark the referral as closed.
FYI, access to support and updates for Affiliates Pro is provided for one year since the original purchase of the plugin. You can always renew your license at a 50% discount if you checkout using your existing customer credentials.
