Restrict Product Category

I just purchased Groups Restrict Categories and cannot seem to get it to work as I need. My store is for wholesale purchasing. Currently I have 2 national restaurant chains that order via our WooCommerce portal. I have customer groups created for Group A and Group B. Customers 1-38 are in Group A and 39 – 52 are in Group B.

I have products 1, 2 and 3 restricted to Group A and products 4 and 5 restricted to group B. However all products are seen by all customers.

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi again,

You can close this case. I found the error in the setup. For some reason the Product taxonomy was not selected. The issue is resolved!

    Hi Antonio,

To clarify what I mean by I don’t want Group A to see the products for Group B and vice versa…I mean I have a page called Order Products. That page displays all products available for wholesale. It is a mixture of Group A and Group B products. I only want this page to display Group A products when a user of Group A is logged in. For Group B, I only want the products for Group B to display when a user from Group B is logged in.
Currently when a user from Group A is logged in, they can see all 5 products, but if they click on a Group A product, it displays the Page not found message and vice versa.

    I hope this is clear.

    Hi Antonio,

Sorry for my delay, I have been on vacation with no access to email.

Yes, the products are associated to categories that are restricted to groups. Upon further research, the issue seems to be that the Users associated to group A, can see the products for group B, but if they are clicked on, they get the “Page not found” message.

I do not want the users in group A, to see the products in Group B, and vice versa. Is it possible to do this?
    Kind regards,

    Jared

    Hi Jared,
I suppose that your products are associated to categories that are restricted to groups. Maybe the video on the documentation page can help you.
If the problem persists you can send me dashboard admin access to antonio[at]itthinx[dot]com indicating this topic, and I’ll have a look at your settings.
    Kind Regards,
    Antonio B.
