Rewards for Social Shares?

Hi,

Is there a way to award affiliates for sharing a blog post to their social accounts like Facebook or Twitter?

Coupon usage: minimum spend and new user only

Affiliate by Username not working with [affiliates_dashboard_overview]

Okay, thank you for getting back. I did not receive the dropbox link, however.

In any case, how exactly do these extensions work? It looks like they turn the social media link into an affiliate link. But in this case, would they be rewarded for just sharing the link, if someone simply clicks on the link, or if they fist click on the link and then make a purchase through that affiliate’s link?

We’re mainly looking to award users for actual social shares and clicks they get on those social shares. Will this be possible?

  With respect to your inquiry above, you are very correct to say it basically converts the social links to affiliate links.
  
  No, they won’t be rewarded for just sharing the link, however, they will be if a user clicks on the link; this is done with the use of our Affiliates Pay per Click plugin.
  
  They can also be rewarded if the click leads to a purchase, and this is made possible by another Affiliates addon called Affiliates WooCommerce. To handle this case you would use the addon to set up rates for the affiliates. You can read more on this HERE
  
  Hence, paying the customers for clicking on the shared links would be very possible.
