Social Media Signup

Hi,

I have the Enterprise version of your software and I wanted to establish if it is possible to activate a social signup function within the software somewhere that will allow a new user to register as an affiliate via their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter accounts etc whilst giving credit to the person who referred the new user (tiers).

Regards

Chris

    Hi,

Thank you for your response. Can you please confirm if this solution (affiliates-users plugin) will also track tiers so that If A refers B and B refers C then this is recorded in the affiliates application.

    Regards

    Chris

      Hello, Chris,
Sorry, I’m a bit lost here – would you describe an example scenario for the particular case that you’re inquiring about?
The Affiliates Users works only to create (or import existing) affiliate accounts for users that register on your website – be it via an affiliate link or not. So, if a user is directed to a registration form on your site via an affiliate link, the referring affiliate will get the referral by default, regardless of the Affiliates Users plugin being active or not. If the registration was not made via an affiliate link, then no record of a referral will be made, but an affiliate account will be created for the new user nevertheless, given that the Affiliates Users is active.
      Cheers,
      Denitsa

    Hello, Chris,
    Thanks for using our plugin!
You can achieve your desired functionality by installing a plugin that provides social login (there are some free one on wordpress.org that you can give a try) and then getting the Affiliates Users extension (https://www.itthinx.com/shop/affiliates-users/). It automatically creates affiliate accounts for new users, so when a user creates an account via Facebook, Twitter, etc., they are going to be assigned as an affiliate too.
    Hope this helps!
    Cheers,
    Denitsa
