Tracking referrals

Hi
Thank you for creating an awesome affiliate system.

What I need is the following. I am holding free events. And I want my affiliates to be able to invite people and track whom they have invited.

Despite the event is free inside the event we are doing sales. Therefore the commissions will be paid based on people who buy during the event.

So the functions I am looking for
Currently, I am using contact form 7 for events (I can change to anything you can suggest)

so people go to a landing page and register for the event
1) I want the affiliates to be able to see who register through their link so they can follow up with the person.
(I can use another system eg – gravity forms or events manager if you recommend but please note my event is free) THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTION

2) I want my affiliates to be able to create their custom tracking link instead of their name or affiliate number.

3) Is there a way to extract all the forms filled with who is the affiliate as an excel sheet (now I can see it as a list of people and who is an affiliate, however, we are getting like 50 inquiries a week it is very hard as admin to copy-paste each of those.

thanks in advance for your assistance =)

    Hi Ozan,

Thanks for your prompt reply. And I trust you are having a great day.

Thanks for taking the time to better explain what you need.

You can achieve the desired effect in 1) by customizing our referrals template under Affiliates Dashboard and display the form data involved. If you are versed in PHP can try and modify the template following the process we mention on the docs [http://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates-pro/api/templates/] but otherwise, please it will take some time until we do it. (But we’ll try to get to it as soon as possible)

With respect to the Affiliate links (Question 2); It is possible to generate affiliate links for any site link using the embedded tool under Affiliates Dashboard > Overview. Alternatively, an affiliate can append the unique tracking code, affiliate URL param + affiliate id to any site URL and convert it to an affiliate link. It is not possible for the affiliate to use custom tracking as the referral will fail.

    kindest regards,
    Eugen.

    Hi Eugen,
Thank you for your detailed explanations. My answers below.

    1) Thanks this is crucial for us please let me know estimated when we can have this function. thanks in advance. This is the most crucial function as I have 30 affiliates and around 7 8 of them actively promoting our courses, so everyday I need to login like 5 6 times to be able to answer them.

    2) Ok mainly some of my affiliates use multiple techniques they don’t want to use their affiliate name but a name like aff=VIPTICKET etc. to show it is not a very very affiliate link.
And some want to test multiple streams eg: ads vs free postings on social media etc, to do split testing

    3) Thanks a lot at least now I can have the CSV file to see list of people attending and who refer them. THnaks in advance =)

    Hi Ozan,

Happy Sunday. I trust you are doing great?

Thanks for being an awesome client and for using Affiliates Enterprise.

    1. By default, affiliates can’t see the data submitted via the forms they referred to. But we can modify our template file which renders that page to give you this desired effect. (Please allow me some time to have to this sent to you).

    2. Affiliate CAN’T create a custom tracking link. Curious though, could you share why you would love affiliates to create custom links?

    3. Yes, there exist an export option for referrals made here Affiliates -> Referrals, which would give you a CSV file of all the referrals made(You can also use some of the filters we provide). The CSV file can be opened with Excel.

Once again, I must thank you for using Affiliates Enterprise. And I’ll update you accordingly with respect to the template modification once it’s done.

I wish you a great start to the week.

    Warm regards,
    Eugen.
