Unable to download Woocommerce Integration File

Posted in

I am having the issue “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.” trying to download the Woocommerce Integration File (running on WPEngine). I see others having this issue can be manually emailed the file, but I cannot find where to ask for this or how to contact anyone by email. I am not keen to post my email address in this forum, can someone help?

Would it be better if i sent the integration on the email address you are using on this forum?

    Cheers

Sorry, it’s not your sending email, it’s my receiving email that is the problem. It’s a temporary address that I realize only now, does not take attachments.

I have resent it to you using my personal email, in case your ip address is blacklisted in sorbs.net database.

Please let me know once you get it.

    Cheers,
    George

Hi George, I wasn’t able to receive the attachment and my reply email to you bounced. Please let me know how I can get this file without posting my email address in this forum, I paid for the plug in and am getting frustrated by this process.

    You are welcome Jen 🙂
I’ve just sent you the integration.

Regarding WP Engine it’s their caching service that doesn’t allow the affiliate url parameter. This is not necessary wrong since a caching service or caching plugin can boost your site performance significantly. So, with the suggested fix you get the Affiliates plugin working properly without losing the performance boost.

    Cheers,
    George

Thank you for the information, I had no idea when I signed up for WPEngine it ran on such a different type of server and there would be so much contacting support for tweaks, I will do as you suggested. Here is an email for the integration file please tddpatterns07@maildrop.cc.

    Hi Jen,

This is the best place to ask for it.
All you have to do is indicate an email address and i will send it to you.

Also, you mentioned you are using WP Engine, so if you haven’t already done it, you should ask their support team to exclude the Affiliate URL parameter from caching. You can find more information on our troubleshooting section regarding WP Engine.

    Kind regards,
    George
