Update Prevents Products from displaying on category pages.

Posted in

I just updated you Woocommerce Product search plugin to v. 2.12.3 and when I click on my category pages, none of my products show up.

When I deactivate the plugin, all of my products do show up. Something is causing a major problem.

Can you look into this and let me know what we can do to fix this?

Thank you.

    Hey Dan,
    I’m in Bulgaria 🙂
I didn’t deactivate any plugins when I visited your site, just tried the front-end.
What about the possibility of a staging site, would you be able to set one up?
    Cheers,
    Denitsa

    Denitsa,

Was the plugin activated or deactivated when you tested?

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Denitsa,

What country are you in? We have a firewall setup. I can give you access.

George was able to access my site but never responded regarding this issue. Is there a possible fix for this? It was working before the update?

    Thanks,

    Dan

      Hello Dan,
You site is generally inaccessible from my area, Wordfence blocks my IP, but I managed to browse a category for a brief moment there. Screenshot here -> https://pasteboard.co/I6DHNjU.png
I am not able to see that when I visit the page through a proxy server – the categories show no results. This points us to a possible Wordfence-related issue, but I’m taking a shot in the dark here, since I can’t access the website properly.
George is looking into the matter already, as he stated in your other theme, and I feel there is a connection between the two problems. It’d be faster if you would whitelist my IP, so I can take a peek at the install as well. Better yet, can you provide a staging environment where we could do some testing without the fear of breaking a live site?
      Cheers,
      Denitsa

    Hello there,
We’ll need to take a look at your site, so please email us temporary admin access credentials at help [at] itthinx [dot] com, as George mentioned on your other theme here -> https://www.itthinx.com/topic/no-search-results-by-sku/
    Cheers,
    Denitsa
