Updater link in admin does not work properly

I’ve just purchased Aff Ent (this is my second copy, we use it on another site and think it’s great), and I’m trying to get the Updater installed onto the site. I get the same error message this guy did (https://www.itthinx.com/topic/itthinx-updates-plugin-link-does-not-work/) – and there is nothing wrong with my site configuration. I went to the repo to search for the updater plugin, figuring I would just download it directly from there (after all why wouldn’t it be there) and it’s not there…

Do you have a zip file for the updater plugin? Can you publish a link to it please?

Ok Michael i’m glad you resolved it.

    Thanks.

Actually you can disregard the message above about the WC Integration. This is our second license and our other site has the WC Integration. I pulled a copy of it from the other server and installed and activated on the new site. Will let you know if there’s a problem.

Ok, that worked without a problem. Now I’m having the same issue with the WooCommerce Integration – it won’t install from the link in the Admin and it’s throwing up the same error message. Is there a link to the zip file and I’ll install it manually?

I’m running WP 4.2.2 and PHP 5.5.25 and I haven’t seen any other configuration errors like this previously.

    Hi Michael,

You can try this link http://service.itthinx.com/itthinx-updates.zip to download and install it manually.
Please don’t forget to enter your Service Key.

    Kind regards,
    George
